Here are the prompts for 2016’s Flash Fiction February challenge. Newest prompts will appear at the top of the page this year, but if you need to catch up just scroll down to see the earlier prompts. Good luck!
You don’t need to stick to the current day’s prompts, nor do you need to write about all three prompts for the day – you can pick and mix as you see fit! Currently the deadline for submission is open: we want to get your work uploaded as soon as possible and you can still submit after February ends. Eventually a selection of pieces will be chosen for a flash fiction anthology to be published in late spring/early summer.
Submit your writing either via our email address at firstname.lastname@example.org or by using the form at the bottom of the page. When submitting, please put the prompt(s) that you took inspiration from and please try to include a title, as otherwise we will have to make one up on the spot! Please also add your name or initials unless you explicitly wish your submission to remain anonymous.
